    Commercialisation of processes like this are a problem in engineering and economics, the lab pass sorts out the chemistry/physics first.

    As such, application of current technologies, safety standards, optimisation of costs etc are the problems addressed in commercialisation, and these are likely to have reduced relevance in todays world vs 1892.
