Was hoping for some kind of positive announcement today from the board in regards to what they are doing about this parlous state…..alas very little. This is a company well and truly in the doldrums. The French operations a total millstone around the company’s neck and the rest of the operations limping along.
…..but I thought there was a fair degree of misery priced in already to this stock ….to see it plummet another nearly 8% underlines how unimpressed the market is with this company stuck in a cul de sac of its own making.
The board and management deserve to be under extreme pressure now. Shareholder wealth is being pissed away while they sit on their derrières.
PS the increased dividend is a bit of a sick joke when 8% of your capital goes up in ‘le smoke’ the day it’s announced
