The Board and Leadership, especially the newly appointed CEO who has ducked out of making a horrendous mess at Woolworths, aren't up to what Ramsay needs. They need a seasoned Leadership team with a track record of operationalizing strategy in the Healthcare environment. Not a slick McKinsey consultant with powerpoints who made a mess at Woolworths along with Banducci. This is a slippery slope and will get a lost worse. But Board/New CEO could pull a sale off, bank the options, in the false perception they created shareholder value.
