If you just want to get rid of your EVM shares so you can claim a tax loss you can do it now by using delisted.com.au. They have EVM in the eligible list.

Delisted.com.au was created, with ASIC support, as a buyer of last resort for untradable shares so that the tax loss can be crystallized. Otherwise there was no way to easily access the tax loss from liquidated, delisted or suspended companies. See also
