less than 20 days before next take over offer?

With the Scheme meeting taking place at 10am (Adelaide time) on Friday 30th March 2012, we currently have less than 20 calendar days for a 'higher' takeover offer to be made by another party!

In the mix to date could be:
- RIO
- VALE
- Chinese interests
- Indian interests
- FMS or BHPBilliton (seems highly unlikely)
- a completely out of left field wild card (Gina Rinehart?)

So the next few weeks will certainly make for an interesting 'edge of seat' wait in anticipation, to see how it will all finally play out.

I for one feel there is a better than 50% chance we will get a higher offer, just in the nick of time! So I am planning to hold all of my shares until the very last moment.

So fingers crossed and good luck to all long term holders who stuck it out all of this time, we might still have some more surprises around the corner!

Just for the record, if no higher takeover offer occurs, I still plan to vote 'Against' (No) to the current offer from MMK.
