You seem to know much more about ESG than the average speculator
I can't recall seeing any announcement by ESG that -
"...but had $120m worth of funds offered to them, $70m of which they rejected"
That sort of detailed information is very rarely disclosed
All ESG announced on 12/3/09 was that "..it was heavily oversubscribed"
I am a ESG shareholder
Would you like to tell how you are so certain that I am not a shareholder ?
At any capital raising a company can later add on a SPP - some do some don't
My point has been that ESG could do the same and at least give small holders the opportunity
Most of us small holders would love to take part in a fairly priced SPP and support ESG in its appraisal endeavours, to the ultimate profit of ourselves and towards the achievement of Incentive Targets for "our" employees.
As for describing shareholders as being whingers - well shareholders are the Owners, a fact which management often forgets about. If you have read the last Remuneration Report you could conclude that management see themselves as a very special class.
