From the 30 November '23 Ann, the presentation to the 2023 AGM:
Up to now we have received absolutely no news on this. Now, from the AGM itself, we have this bumbling statement from Philip Lucas who erroneously said that there would be a chairman by end of Q1.
He was of course wrong, but Sayona Mining, in the form of James Brown, temporary CEO, did not bother correcting him, and also did not bother putting out a clarifying statement.
He himself also had the following to say:
Obviously James Brown is saying "targeting the first half of 2024." But that is an ambiguous statement.
A hallmark of terrible management is a refusal to commit to a firm timeline, or to make a concrete and clear commitment. And that's what we have here.
There is about four more weeks to go, before the "first half" of 2024 is concluded.
Will this be yet another broken promise by James Brown?
We'll find out.
