so why don't they just appoint JB permanently and require him to rescind any other jobs.
He came in at very short notice as interim CEO when Brett left and has expressed no interest in retaining it, if he hadn't stepped in we would have had no CEO with experience and be going through the same process of finding one.
Forget about what we think about the situation, if you don't think he is as capable as any potential replacement of getting us through what is largely a mining situation at the moment, then run for the hills as the process could potentialy take a lot longer.
We are not in normal times so don't expect normal outcomes IMO.
