Why would any qualified individual apply for the Chairman position with the industry in flux like it is? we are a company, like a number of others, trying to keep our heads above water as there is not a defined end to this SP tank. i would wait until i thought the bottom was in and we report another qrtr first. i would want a clear picture as to how we weathered this storm. if i did apply it would be a letter of interest but hold off any formal commitments until we see a turn. no one wants to come in at tough times with the potential of failure sitting in the wings. not what many want to hear but ask yourself, would you dive in if you were qualified? glta jmho
