There is a lot of negative sentiment about electric cars at the moment and that goes down the line. too much uncertainty. It will take massive floods, cyclones, fires, tornadoes at double the speed, for climate change to get back on the front page, (Tesla has fired lots of staff) and China is winning the battle for cheap electric vehicles. (We don't supply China.) and we don't build our own cars.
That may explain why no one wants to pay for our lithium, a bit like the old propeller air liners, no one want's them any more they have moved on like the horse and cart.
But you can buy a good cheap petrol Chinese Ute for around $40 grand with a 7yr warranty or a good Chinese petrol SUV for around $20 grand with a 7 yr. warranty. you can even get a good Chinese electric car for sub $50 grand.
Only my take on it but looking out the window that is what I see. and no one has to believe a word of it.
It all needs turning around again.
