Mr Borshoff predicts major changes in the sector’s corporate make-up as the smaller players are suffocated by their inability to raise capital. He said most would be dressing themselves up as takeover targets. “If you are looking at no capital for 10 years, and you’ve got $10 million in the bank, it’s like having an oxygen tank at 5000 metres and it takes you half an hour to get to the top but you’ve only got 10 minutes of oxygen left,” Mr Borshoff said.
