Klutch, gem's agm report went far beyond statutory reporting, such by showing detailed changes in results within acquisition group years. I suspect gem provided this to correct the amateurish reporting earlier in the year on roll ups (specifically uninteligent investor and motley). I recall that Gem also provides overall occupancy rate info in half years, which i doubt is a legal requirement.
Compare to, say, health stocks (also receive large income thru govt payments) and you will find much less detail in most reports ( eg, nothing on acquisition performance 1-2 years later, little on patients dynamics).
Meanwhile, *maybe* we will see some interesting activity in 2017 as anchorage plays its private equity game with affinity. Gem gains from the shares they held (legally) and forced replacement with a potentially better chair. But the affinity game may give gem some unique opportu ities, which i posted a couple of months ago.
