@stlamc I think I was way too generous in my calculations of per licensed place cost to Anchorage, it's actually probably closer to $19,000 per place.
The last purchase by Affinity was $24m for 750 places = $32,000 per licensed place. Notification to market March. 2015, with vacancies being reported at time of purchase.
Concerning is that Anchorage, despite stating publicly, have yet to appoint, anyone with early childhood experience to the board of Affinity.
Wonder what would have happened to the Affinity takeover, if Dick Smith had been placed in administration four months ago?
