Shepo, I think it was the Cadillacs that really won them over - every mover and Sheik-er wanted one.
They would have rather dealt with the Russians, but their robes got caught up in the pedals of the Lada's and Zlin's, and they had no airconditioning.
The US produced the first airconditioned "topless" convertible and won the Saudis hearts & souls.-:)
