As a bear, it might be time to throw in the towel. US stocks just keep hitting new highs. Every now and then the S&P500 might drop half a percent, but it always heads back up again.
Here is the strategy the winners are using. Accept that markets are perfectly priced and invest money in the indexes as soon as possible. It is 'time in the market' rather than 'market timing'.
In other words, the market is always right. Over-inflated prices are still rational as they are simply a function of supply and demand. Technically, there are no over or under priced assets.
That said. however, I am no bull. I might be susceptible to a fear of missing out, but there is no such thing as forced buying. When in doubt, do nothing. Better to make no decision than a bad one.
