ERG - great example of a company that had the technology but found it hard to commercialise. Having patents is one thing but being able to develop and commercialise to a viable product is no easy task. If you read back on history of ERG its downfall was poor management amongst other things.
Fast forward to OBJ. Great technology with huge potential. Yes founding members have the technical know how but who actually has the experience to commercialise in to viable products with partners etc. ERG is an example of how badly it can go wrong when you have the blinkers on.
