Its a shame about Lynas woes over the past qtr. It appears that shareholders may have fallen victim to lack of continuous disclosure requirements. I hope that the problems faced by Lynas with production are resolved soon as I believe the quicker Lynas get there product on spec and are able to maintain nameplate production, the better for the industry as a whole.
Nonetheless, Lynas misfortunes should highlight potential problems for Alkane. Even the most modern, state of art chemical plants have unforseen issues.
The old adage time versus money, really favours time as a commodity in this instance having successfully run the pilot plant for many years really does eliminate basic engineering issues that may be a concern during construction.
