I liked your post DTrad - because I've tread your footsteps thru France Belgium Turkey. It's unexpectedly awesome and emotional to be in these places.
Yet when I'm home and reflect on it dispassionately - the bullshit factor returns. I think of Afghanistan and now don't wonder why Gallipoli is the most poignant.
