What is really the embarrassing thing about it is his antics on the court and the self-centered tantrums which have spilled off-court rants directed at all sorts of spectators. Some famous and others are just average spectators. But this sort of behavior reminds me of some young rock n roll stars of the nineties, it's very much a live life fast syndrome because eventually, it runs out of its self-indulgent appeal and as such a deal with the devil to have anything you want now but you will pay later, is also reflective on the state our world is in now. What is slowly happening is stardom and fame is as Bono once said in a song called kite "" the last of the rock stars went hip hop with the big cars hey whats the big idea"" A dying perception, and we all have to understand that we are all just human beings on this earth who share a bit of space. We are not all astronauts and travel to the stars. because if we let this self-vaulting ambition constructed in our own heads get out of hand eventually the world turns the tide and you have what we are facing now. World recession, war, inflation, floods, Climate change activist disruption on top of climate change, Pandemics like covid and now maybe a pox, droughts refugees, banking crisis, housing crisis, homelessness, indentity self crisis are you a man or a women or what?, supply chain crisis, Plenty of jobs but no one to work because of cost of living being sky high. Empty apartments and houses and caravan park lifestyles the norm. And someone on a court throws a tantrum and breaks a racket and just can't hold their rational adult composition or respect because they want to win and have a look at me i'm great and i can act like i want attitude. And that's what we worship as a sporting identity. Not me. Greedy and self inflated comes to mind considering the rest of the world is suffering because they just exist.

“And that's what we worship as a sporting identity” And that’s my argument right there. He is who he is, I like him...I prefer my local footy to Wimbledon but I love my sport! It’s a great release and the passion flows through all supporters. Now soccer isn’t my game but those supporters in England sure do have a lot of fun, violent at times yes, but no one forces them to go! It’s full on, seven days a week for a mad supporter!
