That is a bit harsh, don't you think.

Warrego have been trying to get that well drilled for about 3 years, and despite the quoted timeline, it does not appear to be any closer to fruition. They had backers for the seismic, but they pulled out a while back after shooting the 3D.

At present, the funded drilling in the basin for the upcoming campaign is only Waitsia (2 wells) and Xanadu. The latter is still a bit up in the air, IMHO.

Alongside those wells, EGO/NWE are moving forward, as are Warrego and possibly Ocean Hill. All three of these are subject to some form of funding, but are considered by most as drill ready.

I don't think I've missed anything. This is all intel coming from APPEA Conference.
