    I'm sure you are correct, but at this stage the virus is weak and of little consequence.

    So what is the point of trying in vain to curtail it.

    It is less virulent than most "normal" strains, so all this isolation stuff is a waste or time.

    The danger is "crying wolf" so that if a more deadly strain emerges then most will be complacent.

    Let this strain run its course as it will. It strikes me as the same as trying to stop the current economic flu. It just lengthens the process into many years instead of getting it over and done with.
