No negative imo, just more potential uses. May also allow miniturisation of batteries, this would be interesting.
Besides manufacturers sell a product, if they dont adapt to new tech which betters said product, then competitors will and take marketshare. This is their problem , not ado's.
But it all remains to be seen. Forget diagnostics if it all happens.
