The chart has popped to a higher high and the trading indicates a bit of playing going on, it is usually dead trading.
Will be interesting to see what happens, usually the buyer will sound out the major shareholders upon being rebuffed by the board.
If the 3 major shareholders accept a price the buyer may go hostile. They are apparently a trade buyer so the purchase is strategic, unlike PE who are opportunistic and usually won't pay up, trade buyers will pay a premium.
