Hedge fund manager, how to get extra 5 million shares ? If we buy it from market, price will increase.
Ok, lets dump our 1 million shares in market, that will trigger a lot of stop losses and price will decrease, more shares in market, + people will fear of buying it due to price drop.
And Hedge fund will start ramping it again. And regular public will start following again by buying at higher price, who were stopped out earlier.
