Linc freely advised the expert panel about the various problems they encountered with old gasifier designs - that is why new designs were built and tested learning from what went wrong previously.

Stinging eyes of a worker on site does not necessarily imply soil contamination off site.

Could the workers eyes be stinging because of a leaking well on-site? Or can the workers eyes only be stinging if the soil is contaminated over 300km^2.

The hydrogeologist was not even working for linc when the logbook entries were written.


I would call this evidence more speculation rather than testimony as he was not even a witness to the events. If that is the best QLD gov can do Linc are doing OK in court.
