i dont agree actually with letting the markets run their course on this occasion.
the equities markets will never consider recovering until the monetary markets become liquid again..
this is what the "hot shots" of the world are suppose to be doing.
without the banks being able to work together in liquidity there is absolutely no chance of world equities markets recovering at all in my opinion....hence the intervention by governments to stem the bleeding.
the idea is fine but should have been done months ago.
