Anybody that decides to take TEN over would need a plan to get rid of all the left wing talking heads, and then become a more balanced outfit. I was watching the news on Saturday evening and it was being read by Mike Munro , who, when switching over to the political correspondent to report on the fact that Tony Abbott had announced it was now 100 days since an illegal boat entry, Munro commented that Abbott ..."was just big noting himself". How dumb is that comment ? Newsreaders aren't the sharpest tools in the box but seem to want to make up for it by being opinionated. Unfortunately viewers aren't interested in their opinions and many viewers switch off and don't return. It is little wonder their rating are so bad. What makes it worse is that their core audience are young and have little or no disposable income so advertisers demand a discount . So, bad business model , left leaning presenters and talk shows (except Bolt), all would need to be fixed by any new owners.
