The war will consume US$460 billion over the next 5 years. That's not including any new wars the neocons manage to start.

The beneficiaries in the short term are the munitions companies and crony capitalist supporters of the current US administration. But overall the nations which remain peaceful will continue to grow their economies while those engaged in war will continue to be racked with division and just pouring money down the drain.
