If the Europeans and Ukraine make it difficult for Trump and Putin to reach a fair settlement, what you'll get is WW3. And it will involve nearly all of Europe and it will bring in China & Nth Korea. It might even come here.
Is that what people like Starmer want? The failed governments of Europe, like Germany, the UK and France, should just shut their mouths and let serious people try to end a fruitless slaughter.
