I tell you this, this will blow up in Bells face.If in fact it is them to blame. Apologies to them if its not. But assuming the obvious that they are making way for new stock..they have a serious amount of work to keep the price above the issue price. Which means the stockbroking controlled client money has to go back and spend to keep the share price up using the same money they just released from the very same stock. Or alternatively other retail clients will be used a fodder to prop up the share price so the elite few get set at the placement price.

Happens very often in broking.

But now the broker finds themselves in our position. Whilst they are propping up the price we will no doubt filling them in.
