The Tarong Power Station, which belongs to the people of Qld., doesn't have the final say in where it buys it's coal. The Qld. Government, elected representatives of the people of Qld., have said it will produce the cheapest electricity it can for the electorate. MRV can provide coal of a better quality, and cleaner and cheaper to Tarong Power, as per the Qld. Government's electoral promise of cheaper electricity for us, the electorate. So far they have failed the electorate in this promise. One has to wonder if someone is having his palm greased in order for this rort to continue. Why doesn't the Qld. Government buy it's coal from MRV, and keep it's promise to us the electorate ? Someone is making a quid out of this, under the table.
