They are not technically buying the coal as they already own it through their ownership of the mine. The power station inflate what they claim is the cost of production, and pass this on to us the consumer. The dollar difference between what we pay, and what they produce the coal for, is the 'cream for the boys'. Johannis would be proud of them.
