1. The correction of the Shanghai market, whilst promising, is influenced by the gov and its measures to ban selling activity. From past experience, such moves to interfere with free markets tend to yield temporary respite, until the bigger players have unwounded their positions and your smaller traders begin to have access to the means of circumventing the regulation. Put simply, the sellers are still looking to sell, and the market is being corrected by virtue of heavy short covering undertaken by funds. This ultimately brings the prices back to equilibrium, until another bubble brews.

2. This inherently means that our discount rates for commodity related equity will have to be adjusted to factor in a lower medium-term IO price and higher risk. But in the short-term of a month, i see BCI being good value based on sentiment, NOT fundamental value. The markets are seeing a relatively strong comeback, and the Greek crisis will come to an end, thus giving the market one more good run before the bears set in.

3. The SSE belongs at appx 4200. This puts IO at around $52-55. My projections for BCI puts at around 36 - 38cents. The key take away is to recognise that smaller IO stocks trade based on 70% Market Sentiment + 30% hard numbers, as you have seen in recent times.
