GRK green rock energy limited

lets crunch some numbers, page-6

" Based on GDY’s cost of Geothermal power of $45 per MWh a 400MW power station operating 8760 hours a year with a $70 tariff equates to roughly $87.6 million a year profit."

GRK's costs would probably be higher than GDY's because of the lower thermal gradient and GRK having to drill through about 4k of granite while GDY are mianly drilling through a deeper layer of sedimentary rock. As GDY's experiences have demonstrated, drilling through large amounts of deep granite will probably significantly increase the risks as well as the costs.

On the other hand GRK don't have to worry about the cost of a long high voltage DC power line.
