What a day and what a night. Woke up this morning not knowing if I went to bed with Cinderella or a Hooker. Looked the same to me, even without alcohol.
Many things were said and suggested yesterday, good ideas and very negative views.
Personally, I would not throw out the baby with the bathwater yet (fisho!!!!) and am happy to sit out our immediate future. Finally some action. IMO it will not get worse.
The idea I like best (of course to my advantage):
FAR and Petrosen join to lodge a pre emptive bid backed up by Total as the final buyer giving them 65% (I can't believe I said this, but they do speak french, had already a look at it and they are not hated in Senegal). Total (or any other major player acceptable to Senegal) would end up paying probably the $7 pbo to us two minor Partners and plus $1 for COP's share with the 2C coming in at 1bbo or more. Add value for 3C, the Fan, Djiffere and of course a premium etc and the numbers could look at lot more acceptable to us.
