"Sell it for 50 mio and spend another 2 mio getting project no 2 ready for sale" - McPhillamys sized deposits don't roll off like a factory line so easily (ALk got one in 30+? years). Regis also concluded this project is uneconomical to proceed with, so you would want a real good deposit to get any sort of return for your investment in this environment (and maybe more significantly your time given all the resourcing required to get the DZP up). I think its good to keep the gold exploration programs rolling to ensure all the eggs are not in the DZP basket, but IMO its unrealistic to think they can be any significant part of the financing.
