Presently, China uses 50% of the worlds coal usage.
The only way forward ,I can see drastic change by embracing nuclear technology, otherwise, the short term costs to develop renewables on a scale we need to change is too great and this endless argument will continue. Simply because of costs!
This is a worldwide problem and too many left wings nutbags are trying to put all the blame on Australia.
