Australia's net debt is 11% (the third lowest in the OECD) and we have a AAA credit rating and can easily repay our debt whilst maintaining support for our economy.
Our banking system is one of the strongest in the world and whilst we need to maintain the strength of our financial position we are not in a financial crisis and any talk of such has a negative impact on our economy.
