belting the crap out of kids is a no no for me! a light smack on the legs pulls them into line. you should only have to do it 2-3 times before they are five but a loud respect my authority voice should work 99% of the times. my kids jump if I get the growl going well in my voice.

ps if anyone knows Tony tell him to keep his mouth shut. he comes across as a bit of a twat when he tries the regular Joe spiel. I did vote for him though..
