Thanks for the correction AST :), amazing how such simple mistakes are made and I couldn't see it despite it staring me in the face lol

180 x 2.5 = 270

So 1oz per 270t of ore.

Thanks for clarifying the grade too but this is why I was laughing at my own extrapolation and considered it was way too high.

Grades of 8gm/tonne of ore are considered good, at 31gms per oz then the 6 grains per 1.5kg turns into 248g/tonne, surely a distortion based on a small sample or have i got something wrong with the conversion?
