statistics show that. 2 examples here of big demergers:
BHP and S32. BHP significantly outperformed S32. However I’d argue mining is a scale game, S32 was BHPs generally rubbish mines and commodities… not necessarily comparable to WOW/WES spin offs.
WES and COL. I’d argue about par off top of my head.
note I own all these stocks, as well as WOW/EDV.
