BWS' and Dan Murphys' catalogue prices are the prices you and I pay.
At an MTS-supplied Cellarbrations outlet in inner Melbourne recently, I bought a carton of James Squire 150 Lashes Pale Ale. It was advertised on the website for $49. The store employee said to me '$60' and I queried it. He said 'all store owners set their prices', which I then checked at home on the Cellarbrations site. He was correct.
I wonder how many others have been caught out? It's answered in the website's Q and As but I didn't bother reading these before I went to buy the beer.
This is an advantage for EDV.
