The key to that ownership is who signed off on the duty free export of the stones as ownership should have still been in name of whoever had the certificates for it to leave the country initially as samples and then for auction . The value and quality on those certificates would be interesting but seriously considering the debacle of rock at auction jolly any valuation is almost laughable unless shareholder were being told a significantly different story to the government.

Story to govt- we are exporting low value crap
Story to shareholders- wow we have amazing gem quality stones correctly graded and packaged the way buyers want.

Is there FOI in Mozambique . A FOI application and look of records from other side and official ones would be interesting. If possible I am sure Fura would have been having a look.
