My understanding is that the ASX 'Stock' has been converted to a CDI (Chess Depository something) in preparation for the NYSE listing. I don't believe the CDI's will change post-listing, the NYSE has pricing guideline which require a minimum price level. Thus a reduction in the apparent shares on the NYSE listing will occur on a 1:200 ratio...this is probably a good thing...nobody buys a share with trillions in circulation...gulp.
