Cranking up the printing press stuff. The banks certainly ain't pumping out money in the US at present.

You know, the feds bought a lot of Faddies and Frennies' debt.

The UK has happily been printing money. The just get the Royal Bank to buy govt debt with a computer transaction and viola - new money for the govt to spend, but no one has actually provided them that money from their saving etc. It's just come straight out of thin air.
