ABLM - I have actually answered your question about the Convertible notes already, but will again.
To get the CR away they needed to repair the balance sheet by removing a potential black hole next March when the Con Notes came up.
Put simply we had a choice - own a Con Note in a Company in Administration and take our chances and lose all our shares - OR - give the Company a chance to fix the errors of the past and bring home some bacon.
