Someone is looking to dump a lot of shares cheaply. Could it be Mortimer, Quicano, the London fund or just someone who wants to buy some Christmas presents?
As Mr Bean once said, this thing has more twists and turns than a twisty turny thing. The only positive thing I can say about my small investment this year is that it was a fun diversion from work to keep an interest in the ongoing soap opera.
Not much fun on the wallet though, and would rather they just got on with real stuff like drilling Jutson Rocks and reporting the results. I like the Leonora aquisition, although I have fears about the cash position of the company now. That's why I have changed my sentiment to "None" from "Hold." We don't know how they will keep going since (from memory) the last reported cash was under 200k.
And still no sign of a meeting being called even though I interpret they needed to call it 21 days after the meeting request. Looks likely there will be a drawn out legal battle to add to the list of negatives.
So happy Christmas to hot copperites and here's hoping there is a change for the better in 2013.
