They could also lower the price, if a 10% drop generated 12% more sales they'd be ahead etc.
I know that some moms in my workplace will buy yowies for their kids as an impulse purchase, especially if they want to reward or occupy the kid for a little while. Of course they may also buy any of the other similar chocs/toys available.
