can appreciate millhouses views. obviously short term - buy, hold, make some dough and sell, maybe buy back in - unless he believes that the company is worthy as a long term hold according to his criteria. Nothing wrong with that. i am more long term and as millhouse states it is apparent that opportunities have been missed by not selling high and then not buying back in at a lower price - and this opportunity has been available to all. i am willing to forgo that opportunity as i am not in it for the short term. but in saying that i have been stung by staying in some shares for the long haul. everyones personal risk profile obviously different. healthy to have opposing investment strategies.
