HGR is not like many other "penny" shares. As far as I can see there are a number of main differences.
Firstly, there are only 372 mil shares on issue and according two the lastest information the Top 30 shareholders own about 45% of them(Investor Update). I would suspect that in the last month or so this figure has probably risen to about 55%.
Secondly, the market cap is still only around $22 mil at 5.9c
Thirdly, to day trade this share I would suggest that the liquidity of the stock is so limited that if you want too then you have to pay the price.
Fourthly, HGR is developing a very loyal shareholders base, many of who have done bucket loads of research, made late night phone calls and shared excellent information via email and on this Bulletin Board. These holders, you can tell from their excellent posts, are highly intelligent, motivated and well researched. They are holders who see HGR as a true long term investment.
Nextly, the company is being/going to be re-rated, as it turns from a IP property venture into a commercialized world wide company.
Secondnextly, Management and Backers have vast experience in the field they are entering into.
Lastly, any spike in share price won't get my shares as to be out of this stock in the coming six months could cost you dearly.
What ever happens today, certainly won't be the last thing that happens to HGR.
My thoughts
cheers
